Super cute. Snowed in. One bed. Exs. Dual narrator. Biggest complaint is that it seemed to end so quickly.

I absolutely loved Emergency Contact. It was the perfect romcom. The banter between Katherine and Tom was hilarious, wittiness perfectly executed, never forced. They crackled (IYKYK) the whole time. I also loved all of the self-realizations, vulnerabilities, and tenderness throughout.

The opening of the book was perfect! I loved how it set these two characters up - showing them as foils of each other. And then that line toward the middle of the book really opening Katherine up β€œI exhale in relief that my darkest secret remains safely hidden: That I want a place on his spreadsheet. I always did.” I really felt for Katherine and was so glad that Tom showed up for her.

What an absolute fun read with a surprising amount of sweetness. I devoured every word.

This book was hilarious and heartfelt and so much fun! If you love second chances, hilarious banter, characters with a complicated history, found family and a whole lot of road trip mishaps at Christmastime, then read this! Super cute.

…and while there is another relationship involved, there is no cheating so hallelujah.
