Lexi finally finds out what she is, but she's not safe. Raff's old pack now wants her and the Kiba pack and Lexi's guys will need to go to war to protect her. We also figure out more about Lexi's parents and her heritage. Be aware that the book ends with a cliffhanger.
I love Lexi's story. She's so strong and independent and although she's afraid she's willing to sacrifice her life to save the people she loves. I also love Ada, she's the perfect best friend, and her rumbling are so fun. I can't wait to read the end of Lexi's story.

This actually wasn't half bad also considering I didn't realize this was the second book in a series until after I started but I just kept reading and I wasn't lost so points to the author for that as well. I don't typically read reverse harem books but as an audiobook I feel like maybe I can do it. This was enjoyable in the sense that it was what I think of as a typical reverse harem a storyline with a supernatural element but not in a bad way. There was a cliffhanger ending and while I'm not dying to read the last book I'm a bit intrigued so I might pick it up as a light side book when I need something to pass the time.

We get answers!
We finally get answers on what Lexi is!
I really wanted to like this book as much as the first book. But this book was really just about Lexi establishing her relationship with her mates a little bit better. But there was little to no action up until the very end of the book. It was a little hard to continue reading this book as it seemed to be really just a filler book until the last third novel. I think this trilogy could’ve been more of a duet personally but at least we finally got answers on Lexi and her parents.
I’ll be looking forward to the third book!

Fantastic continuation of the story. I didn’t see that plot twist at the end coming at all! Looking forward to the next book!!
