A huge portion of the book was old historic journal entries that I wasn't able to get interested in. I also didn't have much interest in a lot of the present-day new characters introduced. I finally ended up resorting to a lot of skimming.

I thought I'd read all the books in this series but apparently I missed one. This book was dull. It was about Tim & Cynthia's misadventures on a trip to Ireland and their interventions with the people they meet. I didn't believe in how a character finally turned to God, but really I just didn't care about ANY of them. What's next, Tim and Cynthia go grocery shopping?
