6/24/18 age 7 - It was cool that they got to ride a white stag, and they had a cape that made them invisible. They weren't celebrating Christmas in Camelot that year, because a wizard cast a spell over the whole castle, which deserted the castle until Jack and Annie got the water of imagination to bring it back to life.

This is a great read for kids and parents to read to their children and family during the Christmas season.

After reading all of the original magic treehouse books, this change into the merlin Missions is a true breath of fresh air. Though not very deep and a feeling that the author just made this one quickly to make further books in this series that she actually wanted to write, even with that I enjoyed this one and the whimsical nature of it.
