Spoiler TW: Graphic violence

I was thoroughly enjoying this book, right up until the moment when

Jussi is attacked and mutilated. The description was extremely graphic, and contained imagery of genital mutilation, which was more than I had the stomach for, and it put me off attempting to finish the story at all.

If anything, this book is an argument for the inclusion of ratings for books. I wish I had checked people's warnings on this website before picking it up.
