I really liked the story of Persephone and Hades, I just have some personal critiques like sometimes I couldn’t really imagine what was describedand I had the feeling some spice scenes where really rushed even tho I really really got to love Hades, i had to close the book a few time because I had to scream and kick my feet in excitement

i felt like this was enemies to lovers in an extreme way. persephone was bothersome at times cause her anger didn't make sense, and i didn't like this version of Hades being secretive or manipulative. i liked the girlfriends a lot but this wasn't a positive love story to me

Excellent pacing, fun characters, and some fun twists and turns. This story was not all too predictable at all.
It kind of gave Lucifer (TV show) vibes as well as Tangled (the movie).

"A Touch of Darkness" presents a very good premise but suffers from overly simple writing. I genuinely enjoyed the storyline; however, the narrative seemed tailored for a middle school audience, despite covering mature topics and including some steamy moments. The complex relationships and characters were presented with complex psychological issues but were never fully explored, leading to a plot that unfolded with minimal depth and character development.
The main characters had the beginnings of what could have been an interesting dynamic, but this was only touched upon superficially. So each interaction played you similarly. Additionally, there were no significant twists or plot changes. The side characters felt superficial, merely interjecting without much explanation or thorough examination. Their appearances seemed brief and unimpactful, leaving interactions feeling incomplete or concluding with a simple message which did not need buildup. Despite these shortcomings, I did appreciate the storyline and am hopeful that the next installment will offer more sophisticated writing.
