This book absolutely wrecked me! It was so incredibly sweet & fluffy - & then the last 10% of the book was soul crushing!
Age gap tropes are hit or miss for me. Before this, the only other book with that trope that I loved was Birthday Girl. & this surpasses it by far!!

Look it wasn't my favourite. It wasn't bad, I just wasn't invested in the characters. However the last few chapters mean that I have to read the second one though. So that's fun.
I liked the book, maybe is a 4⭐️ but what happens at the end just makes me hate this book, i feel that is totally unnecessary. Am i going to read the second book? I wasn’t going to but the cliffhanger makes me want to know :(
The Confidence of Wildflowers is an emotional age gap romance with an ending that absolutely shattered me. Readers should be aware that while this is a great book it may be triggering for some.
I didn’t know what to expect going into this book but I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely flew through this book. I really liked Salem as our main character and only narrator as it really allowed me to get inside her head and understand what had happened to her and how she was ‘dealing’ with it. I’ve also never read a book with such a big age gap before but I can say I didn’t hate it. I was not expecting those last 50 pages to be as intense as they were and I will read the sequel very soon because I am desperate to know more.
