I usually read books that are much longer, but I'm really glad that I gave this one a chance! It's exactly what I needed right now. Sure, there were little things that bugged me, or areas there could have been more depth. But overall I really enjoyed this.

Un bel libro, scritto bene. Che mi sia piaciuto è evidente. Ma dall'inizio alla fine non ho potuto fare a meno di pensare che questo libro mi sia piaciuto perché è esattamente la copia di Sangue e Cenere della Armentrout con un pizzico di ACOTAR, due serie che ho amato. Per carità, la fusione di queste due serie sarebbe fenomenale, però è troppo palese che sia un copia di Sangue e Cenere con qualche rivisitazione qua e là.

Honestly there’s not even 1 original thing here. But it’s pleasurable enough to read when you need the same old YA fantasy trope.
It’s got everything: smutty moments that’ll make your cheeks flush, a predictability that feels like a cozy blanket, and a hero, Everen, who’s so charmingly infuriating that I couldn’t help but root for him. I loved the chemistry between the MMC and the FMC Adara. And just when I thought I had the plot all figured out, that cliffhanger hit me like a plot twist I didn’t see coming. I’m officially hooked and can’t wait for book two!
Where do I begin? I absolutely freaking loved this!!! I was hooked from the first sentence till the last word. The story was fast paced and the romance was top tier. The tension, banter!!! My friend {Lauren} who I trust whole heartedly was reading this book & I had to start it immediately. I haven’t felt this way about a book character since Casteel. And I got all the feels.. {Insert swoon}.
I am in agony that I have to wait 3 months for the second book. But I know it’ll be worth it… If you love Enemies to Lovers, Forbidden Love, Arranged Marriage! You’ll love this story.
