I really enjoyed this one!! This is a short and sweet fantasy with not too much world building or too complex of a magic system. This book is definitely heavier on the spice, but I honestly ate it up HAHA I really enjoyed the tropes in this book and I’m immediately jumping into the second book!
This book is like a bad relationship. If there is enough sex you might just not notice the other countless follies, including the repetitive mind blowing said sex. But hey, we all need a good fuck now and then.
I’m impressed. This was a very quick read. Not hard to understand. Yet it had the fantasy and the suspense and the spice. It was funny. The FMC was slightly annoying though. Evren was fantastic. I’m not usually a fan of “insta love” however it kind of worked for me here. I did however predict the ending/plot twist. Still enjoyed it though.
This was super fast paced which I appreciated cuz I got into it right away. Excited for the next ones!

I really enjoyed the pace of this book! Our MMC is a perfect dark prince and I love his shadow magic. The connection between Adara and Evren is immediate and intense and we get delicious tension, desire and spice from them. I’m looking forward to reading what comes of the new world we get to explore in book two and to see what happens between Adara and the queens and princes.
