Happy to report that this is the worst book I read all year! I also want to note: the Goodreads book cover is outdated. The cover i saw was just an illustration of a snake and a sword or something, so I would have definitely judged this book by its cover if I saw this one first. Don't recommend!

Almost a dnf

Spoilers:

Have you read From Blood and Ash? Or the Serpent and the Wings? (Or countless others) Then you have read this book too! Not saying it’s a bad thing but very predictable.

Glad I saw it through but almost didnt. Evren rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning. He barely knew her and was say all kind of naughty things to her. Not my thing. But it got better.
