Daddy-Dex? Dexter has a brand new daughter named Lily Anne and she's made him a very happy man. He's thinking of retiring his dark passenger. But will he let him? There's also a case Sargent Deb and Dexter is working on dealing with cannibals. It's a gruesome book and yet so good.

Dexter is Delicious was a bit more gruesome than I wanted. I couldn't help but feel that the author was trying to capitalize on the latest vampire trends but then tried to one up it by throwing in cannibalism. Isn't the fact that we're dealing with a serial killer enough? Overall, I think the TV series has spoiled me for the book series.

I always forget how much I enjoy the humor in this series. This book was no exception. I should say that people should read with caution. I consider myself to have a very strong stomach, and a few of the scenes in this book really managed to turn it. Still, looking forward to the next one.

Not good.....in fact, dull as dishwater. I like the series, but man, this book dragged. Nothing interested me in the slightest and I was glad to finally finish it.

This is the first Dexter book I've read that I actually enjoyed and didn't get bored of. Really liked the plot. I hope the next 3 are as good
