Honestly did not think this would be possible, but I actually think this was even better than These Violent Delights. Chloe Gong, you have outdone yourself.
The romance in this book. And the tension... ahhh. So good! And there are even more amazing tropes. Aaaaanndd... one of my absolute favourite ships became cannon!

THIS BOOK ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED ME. LITERALLY STUCK MY HEART IN A BLENDER AND RAN OVER IT WITH A TRUCK.

With that being said, it was beautifully written and it caused me emotional pain in the best way possible.
