This dark romance definitely lived up to the hype! Ava is sweet as sunshine. He past is a bit of a mystery but she doesn’t let it get her down. Alex is dark and brooding with a twisted past. He is the night to her morning but he’s also her brothers best friend.

I love it though I will say it's overhyped on booktok. A beautiful grumpy/sunshine cliche story. And the obvious "I have to leave her to keep her safe", can't say no to that. Spice level was a 3 for me. But overall, a super cute book. Something about a sunshine that defrostes grumpy's heart just makes mine smile

I really love books that give the characters their own “narrative” or point of view by having their own chapters. This book has been a great read.
Halfway through the book we get to see more backstory with Alex and Ava, which almost made me somewhat forget about how they were in the beginning. It almost felt like a part 2 to the story.

It was slow starting for me, but the group of friends were great it was similar to the sex live of college girls.
The background story about MC was cool, but it’s recycled with a new look. MC was so green the entire book, she acted like a deer in head lights.

Ik vond dit boek heel leuk! Ik was wel even verbaast over de andere wending die het verhaal kreeg, maar dat maakte het voor mij juist leuker.
