Title: Honeymoon Hoax
Author: Devyn Morgan
Series: N/A
Genre: M/M Romance

Main Characters:

Brad Taylor is marrying a great girl - not necessarily the girl of his dreams - but a great girl. He has all needs, his girl and his best friend getting ready for a wedding in Vegas.

Cameron Hines has been in love with his best friend since puberty. They’ve done everything together from childhood to Cam standing up for Brad at his Vegas wedding. Cam is finally going to have to let go of Brad as he moves on into wedded bliss

Plot/Conflict:

Brad’s fiancee leave him at the alter, putting his all-inclusive honeymoon cruise in jeopardy - it’s newlyweds only. So the logical thing to do is marry his best man instead and fake it on the cruise ship.

Cam goes along with the fake marriage just to make Brad happy, but of course this is difficult for him since he wants it to be real. Especially after a drunken wedding kiss and subsequent drunken gropings.

Loves:

Just the simplicity of the story. It was short, sweet, no drama. It sailed along…. Ha, I made funny.

Likes:

Brad’s willingness and quick acceptance of a real relationship with Cam was a plus for me.

Peeves:

The lack of substance to the characters was a detriment to the story, mainly due to the length of the book. There wasn’t much backstory and development on the part of the characters, but really, I wouldn’t expect too much from a shorter story so I didn’t knock it too bad for that.

Favorite Quote:
“I mean, I wasn’t gay, but how different could it really be? Kissing was kissing, and friction was friction.”

[3.25] Requires some suspension of disbelief but short, sweet, and pure fluffy BFFs-to-lovers <3 Wished it were longer to develop their relationship more but it was a nice read to have in between longer ones.

Wish it had been longer, bit of a waste of the story for it to be so short
