I truly cannot do slow burn. The plot was great but just way too long and descriptive just get to the pointtttt

This was the first Mariana book that I read and it pushed me head first into her whole catalog. I love her style of writing so much, hello queen of slow burn, and her casual character development throughout. I love me a secret sweetie who’s big and scary on the outside and the fits right in with the wall of Winnipeg himself. Right after this book I burned through all of her books and had the worst hangover when I finished them all. If you like a good slow burn (and I would almost say enemies to lovers as well??) read this one then keep going!
