Pacing may just be a bit to fast for the scope of the world

Priory drew me into a world that I felt drawn to, and felt like it left all too quickly. I blitzed through this 800pp book a lot faster than I thought I would, but the world drew me in, as well as the twists and turns. Candidly, I do think there are some pacing issues here, and at times it's rather clear which character the author enjoyed writing their POV the most. But overall, this is a world that will stick with me, and that's not something that I can say for a lot of recent fantasy I've read.

It was a really good book but I felt like the first half dragged with the story building and then went too fast in the second half. The plot was all over the place to me and I got confused.
