I saw Dr Mate speak in Vancouver earlier this year and it was fascinating to hear him. The book was very long. The link between trauma, disease, addiction and mental illness is for sure noteworthy. I understand those that question his theories as well. It's worth hearing and considering. Not ALL trauma leads to illness and not all illness is routed in trauma but I absolutely believe there is a link for many people.
