I really loved this book. 4.5⭐️ I honestly thought Talulla was going to be all over the place more, but she wasn’t. She felt very human to me, and I really enjoyed reading her and Pierre’s love story. I’ve also accepted that Pierre is the love of my life as well

This book jumped all over. I consistently had to go back because I thought that I missed a part but I hadn't.

I lost interest in this book towards the end. I’m sorry but I couldn’t stand Tally. She got on my last nerves.

Super cute. Kind of annoying how Pierre knew what it was but still got mad when Tallula let him know that it wouldn't be more BUT I'm glad he's persistent. Also kind of annoying how Tallula seemed super naive to Pierre's feeling for her. Sometimes the story was repetitive but i'll attribute that to the fact that Tallula was still trying to heal alot of trauma. Good read.

Y'alll this book was it! I loved the dynamic between Talulla and Pierre and CeCe. I also loved how Talulla was such a raw and relatable character, and how normalized just going on dates with multiple men without the prospect of doing anything other than spending time with them was. She was spoiled and loved (especially by Pierre) but also realized that she had emotional trauma she needed to work through before she could feel comfortable enough to really go all in with someone.

And I really love that they showed that and really dug into all aspects of what made her, her. The chemisty between Pierre and Talulla was also just amazing, this man was so down bad for this girl y'all I was kicking my feet and falling out for both the steamy scenes AND the quieter moments they shared. Pierre even said in the book that he couldn't stand the thought of not being able to enjoy picking her up after a girls night and helping her take off her heels and make sure she wiped the makeup off and put on her bonnet and scarf before bed. And when he realized that his brother was right and Talulla wasn't in the space to give him the full commitment he wanted, he took a step back and finally met her halfway. and I love the family dynamics that were in this book, the friendship dynamics, the brotherly advice. just go read this, it's short and sweet and I ate this up. I think I finished this in like a day or two I couldn't put it down. Def a 5 star read with amazing characters.

Genuinely was OK. I understand Tallulah had a lot of underlying that she needed to deal with, but I hated how it reflected onto Pierre. But I mainly disliked how much Pierre was willing to put up with simply because he was in love with Tallulah. The prologue onto end was cute and I enjoyed it, but I wanted more character development in the middle of the book instead of the ending
