These two issues (14 & 15) have been the best issues of S9. Can't help but feel it's less to do with the story and more to do with the fact that Jane Espenson and Drew Greenberg wrote the issues. It's not that Andrew Chambliss is bad, but it's just not felt quite 'Buffy'. It'll be interesting to see Billy and Devon with Buffy & Co, their story was totally adorable. The 'we're in SF and with Buffy' was a slightly sudden and jarring cut, but I guess as the next arc is called 'Welcome to the Team' we might get a little more about that.
Anyway, back to Spike next week! I'm loving Buffyverse month!
