This was my first time reading Mary Higgins Clark and I will be coming back for more. I couldn't decide whom I thought was the killer, one chapter I thought it was Rob and then the next I'd be thinking of Peter. I didn't think much of Will though. This is a great mystery by a great author.

Definitely a good book. I didn't think that he would have actually been the killer, it was just too simple, but he was and it actually wasn't that simple. Ellie set out to prove that he should be in jail and discovered just how bad of a man Rob really was.
The end of the book was the best part, sadistic and scary, I couldn't stop reading it and was so pleased when Ellie's estranged father and her little half brother saved her. It was the perfect, unrealistic ending. :]

I'm not a huge fan of super slow burn. And I can't stay focused

Awful title but pretty good. My hypothesis about Mary Higgins Clark's killer trope still holds true. This character was also gaslighted a bunch, again depressing.

I found the main character really objectionable, and MHC is not great at writing in the first person. Ending was super meh, IMO.
