Super cute, paasionate, and full of love šŸ©µ

ā€œJust knowing you existed somewhere in this world was enough.ā€

I loved Kai and Isabella! I felt their love was so genuine and beautiful. I like that the forbidden aspect of their relationship leads to them having a genuine dating experience. We got to see them fall for one another in the most realistic way possible. Their chemistry šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø! I loved that Kai stood up for Isabella! He is such a man for that šŸ„¹. Iā€™ve read other popular books (I wonā€™t name namesā€¦ iykyk) that the ML fumbles/hurts the FL because the family opposes or thinks differently! Itā€™s such a pet peeve for me when that happens because usually it's never followed up by proper character development. We all need a Kai in our lives šŸ©µ. In the beginning, I did not think that I was going to love him as much as I did. He knows what he wants, knows how to actively listen, is a man of honor, cherishes and respects women, and loves hard!

I loved Isabellaā€™s character and I could relate to her in a lot of ways. I loved that she was unashamedly herself and didnā€™t change for anyone. Her struggles were real and her determination was admirable. Iā€™m happy that things worked out for her even if it seemed hopeless up until the very end. I loved thatā€¦
Kai lost and that Isabella didnā€™t finish in time! Even tho Kai did eventually get the position he seriously deserved it. He didnā€™t stoop low to win and his reaction throughout the entire ordeal was honest and honorable; Isabella not finishing the book when her brother gave her the deadline and going through the emotions, made her grow into a better version of herself. Both of them had great development.
I liked this book a lot! I didnā€™t have anything bad to say about it. It was a Soild read.

A .25 star comes off for Ch 37. UGH. It got better though and I got over it, the situation was redeemed but at the time I was annoyed.

This was a good next installment in the Kings of Sin series. I enjoyed the opposites of these two very much. Their relationship for the most part was easy going, had a nice flow, and sweet development.

i had a good time with this one, though not has great as i was expecting. it was slow at times & it really wasnā€™t until about the 50% mark that it picked up and i was truly invested. the ending, like the last 10%, felt very rushed ā€” it was like all the conflict & outside info was left until the end & i didnā€™t like that. i LOVE khai&isabella, but dante&vivian still hold the number 1 spot in my heart.

I liked it better than KOW hence reading it in 2 days but the plot wasnā€™t fully consistent. Like once they fell in love with each other the book lost the same absurdity that it composed in the beginning. Like it was so out of hand going into it that I was a little disappointed it didnā€™t follow through till the epilogue and barely that. I hated how the guy that butchered Kaiā€™s opportunity of CEO was only mentioned once like there were barely any clues as to who it would be honestly I thought it was Paxton. Kai and Isabella characters were super cute and I enjoyed watching them banter. HOWEVER I know it was planned for Kai to not be as aggressive as the former characters in the pre series butā€¦.. I still kinda missed the whole you touch her and Iā€™ll kill you vive like it was there but it did not fulfill my satisfaction. Honestly the book wasnā€™t really predictableā€¦.
I thought Kaiā€™s mom had cancer like how did she get married to his dad again???? There was no connection there. Isabellaā€™s procrastination drove my anxiety mad.  Also I think my favorite part is being left to wonder if she said yes because like I know itā€™s implied considering itā€™s two years later but part of me wishes she crushed his mortal soulšŸ‘€. Kaiā€™s great an all but sometimes people need to bend and snap.
