I like this protagonist.

Entretiene y los personajes están muy bien. Pero los policiales son mañosos, un detalle que no cierra y ya se desploma la trama. Y eso pasa con este. Igualmente creo que voy a leer otros de la serie, a ver qué tal.

Can’t decide my thoughts on this book. I was invested in the plot and intrigued to keep reading but there wasn’t as many twists and turns as I usually like. The courtroom chapters were very boring and unnecessary. Overall, I enjoyed reading and was somewhat satisfied with the ending.

Very good

Even though I thought the court room scenes were too drawn out and the very end was unnecessary and made it too long, I still gave it 5 stars because those criticisms aren’t major. The author has a style like another author I found through Kindle Unlimited, Rachel Abbott. He draws you in and gets you hooked. I didn’t want to put it down. I had an idea of parts of what the truth was, but wasn’t expecting quite the ending I got. I’d recommend to anyone who likes these types of books. I definitely will be checking out the rest of the series and other books of his.

Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

I really liked this book because of the intense story line, the great dialogue and believable characters. Also, it helps that Tracy is a kick-ass female lead. I could tell a couple times that the author was a male writing a female character, but that did not detract from the overall story or feel of the book.

If you like fast-paced, who-done-it type books, then this is for you. As a heads up, there are many mentions of rape, although it is not described, and lots of described violence.

Literally could not stop until I finished it

I loved the back and forth in perspectives, kept me interested. If you like a real thriller, read this, you will NOT be disappointed.

The ending really ruined it for me. Cheapened the whole thing. Enjoyable read for the most part, and I'll give the author another chance, but I was disappointed in the character he chose to be the killer.

I listened to the majority of this book and read a small portion of it. This is the story of the Crosswhite family and the murder of the younger daughter. Tracey the older sister was extremely close to her younger sister and was not satisfied with the outcome of the murder investigation. This comes to a head twenty years later when the body of her younger sister is discovered and more questions arise. I was never able to connect to the characters or the plot in this book. I found the switch in point of views and the switch of time confusing. The main issue was that for a thriller it was very boring to me. When the big twist is revealed it left me feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed.

Good read

Enjoyed the suspense. A little predictable, great beach read, the legal aspects were interesting and added to the plot of thebook.
