How does one describe this book? It makes you think, it disgusts you, it pushes your boundaries, and man will it give you nightmares! I devoured this book; I did not want to put it down. I can’t even count on one hand how many times I gagged and permanent “gross” face I had but I couldn’t stop reading! I didn’t predict the ending at all; it took a turn I didn’t expect and it was very fitting! The storytelling is SUPERB! Aron really knows how to tell a story and he tells it well. I enjoyed this disgusting ride. Can’t wait to read more from this brilliant mind!

This was filthy, disgusting and profoundly disturbing. The Slob was my first splatterpunk novel, but it won't be my last. I'm just going to read a few other books before picking up another to cleanse my palate....

Really tough read, extremely violent, and gross. None of the characters are very likable. Some very unrealistic depictions of the human body, particularly female anatomy. Kinda feels like the author hates women tbh. The ending is terrible and further ruins an already awful story. Not my cup of tea I guess. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check your trigger warnings!! This is extreme horror and it can get very intense.
