Two things I'm not a huge fan of in thrillers: an ending where
every single character gets some type of happy ending
and an ending where the moral of the story is spoon-fed to me instead of letting me figure it out myself. This book has both of those things and definitely suffers because of it, but on the whole it was still a pretty decent read and I was interested in the story the whole way through.

omg this book was insane and soooo good !! I have been having a hard time finding a thriller that actually kept me on my toes and made me surprised and sooo invested and this did that.

In this books there are 3 character POV- Skye, a young book editor who finally has found the man of her dreams and loves her for her, even with her extreme case of OCD. We have Burke, said man of her dreams, but he is married with 3 kids and is secretly plotting to marry Skye only for her money. and we have heather, Burkes wife, who you think is just sitting at home while her husband is out marrying another woman all innocent!! Ohhhh NOO!!!

wow does this story has a plot twist and its a freaking good one !!
Although Burke did agree to the plan, Heather is behind all of it-- she got him fired from his job, spent more money so they would be broke, forcing Burke to participate in her plan-- make Skye fall in love with him, agree to marry him and than steal all her money and move far away. What heather doesn't account for is Burke actually falling in love with Skye and realizing what a psycho Heather is.

This book was definitely thrilling. I hated the characters, loved them, despised them, cared for them... I am still thinking about this story and wanting to know what happens next!! If you love domestic thrillers and some insane twists, read this book !!

I rounded up to a three on this because I did enjoy about the first two thirds or so. But the final bit of the book just really annoyed me. I didn’t like where the characters went. It seemed like the reader was supposed to think everyone got a happy ending, and I think one did but the other two was very eye rolly and creepy. I thought it was cool to have some OCD representation but I think the ending didn’t really do right by that.
We’re supposed to just think that Burke’s love just cured her OCD? Give me a break. I just hated their relationship and it spoiled the end for me.
