It was alright as a book, but as a fan of the series, I didn't come away with anything new.
It’s just a recap of the first season. Nothing knew I’d prefer to watch the show.
Originally I thought this book was going to be a new adventure in Storybrooke from outside of the series and was disappointed when it wasn’t like that. BUT then as I continued reading I really enjoyed reading through Season 1 of Once Upon a Time again. I happened to pick it up just as my brother and I decided to cycle back to watching season 1. I think it made it more enjoyable for me!
I enjoyed this. As a fan of Once Upon A Time, it was fun to read the first season in a novel form. Certainly, there some things that were left out or not explored as much in the text as in the show, but it was neat to engage with the story from a different perspective. I'd recommend this to anyone who's a fan of the show!

Awesome read along with the series. It describes all of the characters and makes their plot lines easier to understand.
amo este libro, amo esta serie, y amo a regina mills.
me hubiese gustado que cuenten más sobre la historia de regina y sobre como se convirtió en la reina malvada. anywayss, serie fav.

Great for any fan of OUAT! Or even people who have never watched it. It was a good refresher of Season 1 with new insight from Snow and Emma. Loved it!
