This book was gifted to me on my graduation from high school. In the mere one year I’ve been in college this book has posed as a reminder to me in the confusion and disarray that I have experienced so far.

Oh the many times I've read this book. This is the favorite book of a little boy
I babysit for. I personally find it a bit dreary for a Dr. Seuss book however I think that the repetition is why young children like it so much. It is very much like Caps for Sale in that the more you read it the more your audience likes it.

A timeless gift for children in events such as graduations and life transitions.

So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains.

Like every senior to ever leave high school this book was given to me. I love it. I still love it. My dream to move mountains somehow turned into a dream to climb mountains.

5***** and a ❤

This wonderful book has become a staple graduation gift for students leaving grade school, high school, and college. I first received it when I was leaving my job to start a completely new career. It moved me to tears. It inspired me, motivated me, soothed me, and informed me. I take it out and re-read it every time I feel stuck in my life’s journey. Seuss doesn’t sugarcoat things; he states there will be bumps in the road and foul weather and enemies surrounding you at times, but as long as you keep hiking and climbing you WILL get there (wherever there is). Oh, the places you’ll go!

UPDATE: 17May2013
On the anniversary of my own high school graduation I re-read this book with my niece, who is herself graduating from that same high school this week. Oh, the places SHE'll go!

I like the sentiment in this book, but truth be told I find it a little long winded.

Trying to figure out where I fit in this book right now. I'm guessing playing the game against myself and being alone. The good news is it upturns from there. There's just a lot of slogging and muddling through to be done. Here goes nothin.
