One of my favorite people recommended this series to me knowing that I love a good mystery with dark order. This book did not disappoint, it also had the added bonus of real relationships. Some of the characters drive me crazy and their constant disbelief of them selves or the way they handled certain situation, which is a mark of great storytelling. Definitely looking forward to the second book.

I loved getting bits of pieces of the killer’s point of view leading up to figuring out who it was. It wasn’t really the deepest plot since you kinda knew who was doing the killing the whole time, but the lead up to the end really had me on edge the whole time! Set up the series really well though and I’m excited to read the next one!
