I really enjoyed this book! The photos are beautiful, and give you a sense of how huge this park is and some of the amazing things you can see there. As most of us will never make it there, this glimpse into a beautiful place is just great.

Veteran Joe Wilkins invites us to reminisce about some of his extensive travels through the Gates of the Arctic National Park. I know I will never go there so I am grateful for a glimpse at the beauty of it, and to read some basic information about the wildlife and geography and the people who he has met over the years. I would like to see more about Joe's travels.
