I consumed this book in one day. IDEK if the book was actually good romance or not but I was locked in till the end. Maybe im just romance starved. In all seriousness, the writing itself was not great. The male protag didn't really make sense, very brooding, dialogue was quite nonsensical at times. Its one of those 'dont think too much into it' and enjoy the trashy romance book kind of vibe. The plot twist at the end was alright.

An angsty, best friend's little sister, star crossed lovers, VERY OPEN DOOR romance that I thought was well done. Told from dual POV this novel has witty banter, sizzling chemistry and falling in love vibes. This is a classic bad boy & innocent girl romance. Their families are close knit and there are secrets. . . what could go wrong 🤣🤷‍♀️

This novel is set in Italy & feels like a nice vacation from reality.

Thank you Forever for the ARC.

It was such a story but i did not like all the explicit scenes, a little less would've been better. The ending was also frustrating to me

Really good lines and points that struggle to shine in non fleshed out characters and plot. Ultimately hooked me in but could have used more development of characters and they often spoke in the most unnatural manned

absolutely awful book. the dialogue was robotic and unrealistic. both characters were slightly traumatized but they just told each other and that fixed everything. so many plot holes. the fmc was the stereotypical naive insecure so small so tiny. the mmc was older brooding stupid but also?? MEAN AF. he said some awful things and la di da theyre all good by the end. they forgive each other so quickly. also they were all super flat as characters. making them both smart and hot and with a “terrible secret” but the secret is that their parents are awful doesn’t make a character fleshed out!!! i’ve read fanfiction better than this. i’m so sorry chamberofsecretbooks this deserves an unfollow I TRIED TO BE SUPPORTIVE I REALLY DID

This book would probably be your cup of tea if you like slow burn contemporary romance, secrets, tension, close proximity and brothers best friend tropes, and who did this to you vibes.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for allowing me to have an ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the vibes in this book, with the slow burn, and being forced into close proximity for the first time in years. The fact that they dealt with traumas and secrets made the book more interesting and believable and kept me captivated from the beginning.
