This entire book is the cannon event of first love, miscommunication, and misplaced love.

Magdalen and Theo both have so so so much baggage and in no way are they good for each other or ready for a serious relationship with each other.

The way Theo went completely silent when the other girl was talking to him and then sent Maggie home alone without any communication was enough for her to walk away from him and never look back. As a girl tho, I have been there and done the exact same thing in taking him back :(

The way she immediately assumed that the man she was just in bed with, was then having an affair with her engaged, soon to be married sister mere feet away from her and her sisters fiance downstairs is CRAZY. That right there lets me know that the level of trust you need for a healthy relationship will just never be there.

This was a rollercoaster of a love story and definitely one that would not last past the end of the book so I am glad the author didn't just rush through with a happily ever after and throw a band aid over the huge issues.

I wish that Maggies mom was exposed and got what was coming to her. What a horrible, miserable woman. And to hide that from her "best friend" is absolutely disgusting to me.

This was a really raw deep story and I am glad that i read it. I was just disappointed in how it ended with no repercussions to Theo's dad or Maggies mum.

ugh i was disappointed by this. i wanted it to be more than it was, i think. the relationship didnt feel very real to me, and the motivatiosn of the characters just seemed a bit too easily flipped. idk.
