The thing with this book is that it's so beautifully written and it made me cry because i could relate to Charlie so much. I read this in a day, and I'm so glad that I read it now and not sooner, because now I understand how Charlie has felt throughout this book.

I don't have much to say about this book.

What exactly are the perks?

I absolutely love this book. So much in fact, that I'm contemplating rereading it right now, although I do have other books to read so maybe that wouldn't be so smart.

This book is so depressing and confusing and full of hidden meanings, but it's what makes the story even better. It does move pretty fast, so along with all of the hidden meanings, you also have to try to keep up with the pace.

It's obvious that the main character struggles all throughout the book, even when he's with his friends. He's extremely smart, but doesn't seem to have any knowledge about relationships. I think it's really interesting watching him grow and change throughout the book, and at the end, wonder how he begins to deal with the issues he struggles with.

I could write a 30 page essay on this book and it still wouldn't include all of my thoughts.

definitely reread material ✅
