The perks of being a wallflower is my favourite book in the world; it’s emotional, reflective and takes you back to being 15 in a strange world with even stranger emotions. When I was younger I loved the characters and experiences more, and now in my 20s I appreciate the character development, intensity and genuine horror in the plot which resonates with me personally. The perks of being a wallflower makes you love your friends harder, understand yourself better, and sob at the last page every time. Honestly, no words could describe the impact this book has had on my life. A true classic and loveable book forever

I liked the movie infinitely better. I had trouble getting used to Charlie's narrative voice as he sounded like a nine-year-old at best.
