I love Tudor history and this book was absolutely brilliant!

Alison Weir just has a way of transporting you back in time, and making you feel like you’re living through the pages of her story. Her descriptions are so vivid it’s like you can see the scenes playing out before your very eyes!

I loved that this book was written from Anne’s perspective. Much has been written about her, but it was interesting to understand what her thoughts might have been. The way this story is told has really made me think about her in a whole new light….
what her motivations may have been and why she did what she did, in the way she did it.

And the ending! My god the ending…. I mean anyone who knows their Tudor history knows what happens here right, but the way it was written…. Evoked such emotion and empathy! Such a powerfully written scene!

I loved this from start to finish!!
