This book was absolutely hilarious! Al crash lands on Earth and happens to meet Jude in the middle of nowhere. He gets a crash course in all things human while he makes a device to phone home intergalactically. Against all odds, Jude is his True Mate, chaos ensues (with a happy ending).

I loved how Al had a comment or diatribe on EVERYTHING and he’s literally only saying what we are all thinking! Yes, the English language is stupid. Correct, the way we tell time is dumb (and his panic spiral over daylight savings omg lol). Don’t even get me started on the metric system, I’m totally with ya there Al! He was unintentionally hilarious and perfect and I loved him. This also has a great cast of side characters, especially Buttons!

The miscommunication trope is not my favorite, but it is what it is. We see Al grow into his own a bit here and I actually really loved that (I was on Al’s side

I didn't understand this was mpreg. For me, there's nothing more triggering than mpreg in an alien x human scenario, where the human doesn't know it's even possible... so DNF 20% in

Completely unexpected but I absolutely loved this!!

I've only read one MPreg book before and I didn't like it at all, so I was a little sceptical, but this was so good!

I laughed so much and Al's heartbreak made me cry. Jude was annoying, yet felt realistic too. Buttons was clearly amazing and I loved Ezra, he was a solid side character and so supportive. Corbin just irritated me though, he felt very shallow and I couldn't really see why they were friends.

Looking forward to the next book.

Al and Jude's romance was an adorable, quirky story about acceptance and finding love where you least expect it. I'm not much of an alien lover, but even I fell head over heels for Al, and watching him and Jude fall in love was something special. Despite literally being different species, Jude and Al had a surprising amount in common, most notably their rocky relationships with their families, and I found myself utterly charmed by their unexpected connection. Al had a lot to learn about being a human, and I had so much fun watching him adjust to (and complain endlessly about) all the eccentricities we disregard every day. He and Jude had a strong physical connection right from the start, but the two of them also developed a surprisingly deep emotional bond that neither of them acknowledged out loud for weeks. As entertaining and lighthearted as their days together were, Jude and Al had a lot of insecurities buried under the surface that affected the way they communicated with each other. Some of their misunderstandings were more severe than others, but despite some of the tense, heartbreaking moments along the way I truly did believe the two of them would find their way back to each other in the end. Some of the events in this story were absolutely wild, but I kinda love that this book didn't get bogged down in sci-fi and embraced the whimsical nature of star-crossed lovers. I got invested in Jude and Al's happiness easily, and while their fairytale ending was a little unconventional, I love the way things worked out for the two of them!

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Just not that interesting. Way too slow paced and I don't even think it's supposed to be.
