if i had the ability to time travel i would NOT! go back and sleep with any boy i grew up with.
that being clarified, at some points i felt like the plot was obvious, yet a little too scattered. alice’s main drive for continuing to time travel was to save her dad, yet she went on missions to marry her crush, her job(?) came up, and her friendship with sam was a focus.
i loved the focus on the strong father/daughter relationship, but felt it could have been built better. at some points it became repetitive, which was purposeful, but not exciting to read.
