Not hating this by any stretch. It just felt like something was missing.

Penny Reid is one of my favorite authors. But I just did not get into this book. I did not get the chemistry between the couple, which is why I rated it one star.
Not bad, not great.
The will-they-won't-they gets a bit tiresome and his chapters are like reading a freaking thesaurus. It's weird cause there's so much Russian philology, but at the same time, it's such a clichéd romance novel.
A bit bah, I guess.

Actually pretty well done. Definitely worth the short listen. Penny Reid has way with words I really like and it always keeps me hooked.
I’m loving Kissing Galileo in Penny’s newsletter, and wanted to read the 1st. This was a quick enjoyable read.
Hot for professor is not a trope I typically navigate toward, but, good grief, this one is good. Anna and Luca have fantastic chemistry. My only complaint is I want just a bit more of their story. It’s hard to let them go.
