Deep is my first read by this author but it definitely won't be my last. While I liked Deep just fine I felt like I would have loved it had Ben's point of view also been included. To me the story felt like something was missing because of it I couldn't get a real sense of who Ben was and why he did what he did or even why he was attracted to the heroine. I wish less of the book had been spent on him fighting his feelings and more on them in a relationship. I really enjoyed those parts where he was attentive and invested in them as a unit also the sex scenes those were hot. All in all I enjoyed this book and will definitely read more of this author's work.

Gah i really enjoyed this one! Ben was an ass and god it was good to see him get his ass handed to him once he realized what he did.
Each dude in Stage Dive has his own appeal, but Ben struck me as the most sexy. However, it was hard to kind of...it sounds silly, but...it was hard to fall in love with him alongside Lizzy. Because if we're being honest, that's what reading books like this is about. Anyways, back to the review.
Ben's super alpha and manly and sexy, but he remains aloof throughout the book. At first, this bugged me, but I came to realize that's part of what there is to love about him. Ms. Scott pulls off the strong and silent type really well with Ben. He stays enigmatic until the end, when he pulls himself out of his cloak of broodiness and opens up.
Lizzy's a little bit more tough. It doesn't make all that much sense to me that someone who worked so hard would give everything up that quickly, but I guess she has the rest of her life. And it's love, right? The only thing to cause so much change is love.

This is probably a 3.5 star. I didn't like it as well as Lick or Lead, but it was a very strong story. Mostly I just hate the accidentally pregnancy trope because I can't suspend my disbelief for the fantasy. That trope just feels like it wouldn't work out in real life to me and I don't think it is romantic, so I don't usually read books where that is the main conflict. However, I made an exception in this case because I really liked the other books in this series and I really wanted to see Ben and Lizzy get together. I didn't realize how much of a slacker Ben was until we got to this book! He was really difficult to like because he kept doing absolutely crappy things to Liz. He does eventually get it together and there is a lot of tension that makes you want to keep reading. Liz is a solid heroine, but I was annoyed that she felt like she had to keep the baby and further annoyed that the baby was really the only thing that brought her and Ben back together. Honestly, if they hadn't had a bun in the oven after their encounter in Vegas I doubt they would have really dealt with each other ever again. It just seemed like Ben got on board with whole situation really because of the baby and not for much else. He kind of flips his switch about being a loner and single to saying he can't do with Lizzy pretty quickly and it didn't feel authentic.
I HATED Ben. Seriously I did. He was a douche the ENTIRE book and didn't want a relationship the ENTIRE book but magically by the last chapter he was in love with Lizzy? Yeah.... No. He really took this book from being a three star rating to a two star rating. Enough said.

This book what great, a little different from the others, with a little more drama and a bit more heartache. But it was a whirlwind romance that had me going from start to finish.
