I completely adore this series. Not my favorite couple but still solid. I like Ben and Lizzy but just don’t feel the chemistry as much. I’m also a fan of the pregnancy trop but didn’t love how it all played out. Still a solid cute read.
I was recommended this book either by Amazon or on Goodreads somewhere, so I started with Deep, and am now learning that it's the 4th book in a series. I just want to say, that even though it's part of a series, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything or any relationship development that may have been done in a previous novel. It was great as a stand alone and I'm looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series.
Liz and Ben. I just rooted from them from the very beginning, but I ended up just wanting to yell at the book "make a decision". 1 minute Ben's all over her, then he's trying t push her away, then he's jealous, then he likes her again. Like the back and forth just bothered me so much that I just kept expecting it. You could almost feel the sexual tension written in the words.
FINALLY they are together and going to try to make it work, despite some bumps along the way. I'm glad that they had their happy ending of course and that they finally just made a decision.
I look forward to the other novels in this series, perhaps I'll start with number 1 this time! :)

More like a 2.5 stars

I'm disappointed by this book and how it ended this series.
The story was boring. No obstacle in Ben and Lizzie's relationship. I love Jimmy now and Mal gets on my nerves.
"The girl who ended pregnant after her first time with a man" plot has been so used, it's getting really old.
There was a big lack of characters development. We don't know anything about Ben or Lizzie.
The comments of Ben's beard annoyed the hell out of me. Yeah we get it he has a beard, yeah we get it it's sexy BUT DO WE REALLY NEED TO KNOW THAT ON EVERY PAGE OR SO ? NOPE
Lizzie didn't fight enough to get what she wanted. She agreed way too easily to what Ben wanted.
The whole Martha part. I didn't get it. I expected to see her because she's Ben's sister but she was acting like she did in Lick. I wanted her to have changed. I don't even want to read her story with Sam.
And Gibson Thunderbird.... poor baby. Lori and Jean are not that good either but still.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought! This story follows Ben (bass player of Stage Dive) and Lizzy (Anne’s sister from Play).
Ben was quiet in the previous books and we didn’t know much about him. I am glad the author chose to pair him up with Lizzy. It was clear in Anne and Mal’s story, Ben and Lizzy has a connection that was only delayed because of Mal’s disapproval. And I think the reason on why Ben and Lizzy finally get together - Was the right reason. It showed how mature Lizzy is for a 21 year old and how Ben needed a large change to grow.
This book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading at least the book before it - Lead.

Everything about this was just sheer perfection. From the amazing build of the story to the wonderful characters I love so much, I was just lost to this book. I loved it so much!
I thought Ben and Lizzy had a fantastic story from beginning to end. I could feel their attraction and them getting to know one another was so great. That hot desire they had for one another was immense. It all just built and built and it was awesome. Lizzy is just so strong willed and I loved her standing up for herself, saying what needed to be said. And Ben, strong, silent Ben. So sweet and protective and very conflicted about what he thought he wanted versus what he grows to want. Sometimes I wanted to strangle him but I could just feel that emotion coming from him through his unspoken words. And when he starts to open up, oh man! I loved him even more! It was all just extremely well written.
I thought this story had some seriously angsty moments that had me holding my breath. There is some comic relief thanks to Mal but I have to say that I thought Lizzy had the best internal dialogue. I felt myself laughing so many times because of her thoughts. They had great timing and added just the right amount of funny at the perfect moment.
All the wonderful members of Stage Dive and their women are in this and I adore them all. Jimmy and Lena had there own baby side story going on and I was so happy with that as well. I was even happy with the villainess that is Martha. Not that I like her at all but she helped to create just the right amount of tension and drama.
I didn't want to read this story fast because it's the last in the series. I tried not too but honestly, I couldn't put it down. I was just so pulled in and everything around me faded away. I was just lost to Ben and Lizzy. Amazing ending and excellent epilogue. I totally cried!
Thank you Kylie Scott for creating this awesome world of rock and roll full of emotion and people I totally want to hang out with. Wonderful conclusion to the series!

I did not like this one as much as I liked Lead. Even though the male lead's motivations made sense given his profession, it bugged me. I never really felt that they made a true love connection. Andi Arndt did well narrating this book, even making her voice sound younger and more naive than she read Lena in Lead.
Overall, I just feel disappointed. I did smile a few times and was entertained at the beginning, but it never really made me want to root for anyone. Bummer.

This was very cute, but I fee like the pain was too quick. I wanted more of the ma dn I wanted more of their sexy scenes. I really liked this series.
