My husband is a superhero expert. (And, that is not sarcastic or over exaggerating.) Anyway, I was hesitant but excited to read it. This book was so clever. It made me laugh. It taught us things at the same time. What a hard and wonderful balance. Highly recommend.

This book was so cute.  The drawings, the comic book-like effects, the heartwarming ending??  I loved it.

While offering facts about bats, it simultaneously provides a fun plot with which children can identify--a bat who's seemingly normal in comparison to his companions, but special when he perseveres and shows a great deal of courage.  I definitely expect to see this book make its rounds in the elementary school where I volunteer--I just know that all of the students there will love this book!

A cute comic book like story about a bat who just wants to be a superhero. Her friends all tease her and tell her that she is no different from them, but when it comes down to it, she is brave and strong.

I love a picture book that sneaks in some science and Superbat does that while being really cute and fun.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, wait...it's a bat...in a bright superhero outfit and cape? It's Superbat!

A great picture book, featuring wonderful facts about bats!

Superbat feels like any ordinary bat, even with his superhero cape and mask. But when he responds to a crisis with speed and courage, he finds his strength.

Great little story that introduces facts about bats; also, facts about superheroism (heroes are heroes due to their courageous choices and not their spectacular natural abilities).
