It was painfully obvious how the book was going to play out and the “clueless” main male character was not convincing.

It took me a while to figure out what to rate this book. I would do 3.5 stars if I could. Not something I would read again, it was a little slow for my taste. I did love the ending though, and definitely did not see it coming. But other then the last 60 pages or so, it was just ok for me.

This is my 3rd book by this author. I like this author because her stories always suck me in right away. I loved the beginning of this book but the end fell flat to me. It didn't have as many twists as her books normally have. I know this is an earlier release so maybe that is why. This isn't a bad book by any means. It just didn't live up to what I am used to from the author. She has a lot more books so I will definitely be checking those out.
