Almost no plot, more of a collection of vignettes. Its style is of it’s time, so I’m not knocking it for having no plot. The protagonist would read as a self indulgent self insert if this were written today. All the women love him, he’s smarter than everyone around him, and any setbacks are brief and have little lasting effect.
Very long, goes into lots of small tales that could be ripe for historical context. MC made a lot of the same mistakes over and over. Despite his aim, it is not that erotic.
