I really didn't except to like this book as much as I did. The prose was magnificent and the plot was very meticulously crafted and seamless. Every single detail (there are many) contribute to the overall vibe of the book and the MC. Reading this book, I cannot fanthom the genius of Oscar Wild...

i hated it. i feel really bad for saying that but ??? Dorian was vain, Henry was despicable and Basil deserved better friends.
the plot was boring to me
the end ? not even remotely surprising

sorry my boy Wilde but i can't be with you on this one

Dorian Gray is such a fascinating and complex character. Calling him vane is an understatement. I have a whole rant written down but it’s much too incoherent to post. Amazing book.
