I’m a big JLA fan I’ve read most of her books, some of them more than once. The Dead List is definitely on my list of books I want to read again. It’s fast paced, has heaps of romance and a truck load of suspense. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

It was an OK thriller. It has the perfect plot, psychotic antagonist and one dark twist. It's engaging in a sense that when you think you know what's going on and make a bet on who's who, some interesting things would happen and throw you off the scent and you would start changing your guess all over again.

But I was kind of disappointed with the heroine, I mean, she was attacked, assaulted and almost died in the hands of a lunatic, but then Why didnt she at least felt that something was off when she's always at close proximity with that someone after that? I didnt say that I'm an expert with this kind of things but I think if you experienced something that traumatic, some things will somehow stick with your memory... most especially when she said she had FELT the perpetrator. I'm guessing here that since she had come in close contact with her assailant, some "spidey-sense" would somehow kick off or something would tip her off about that person, especially if youre both moving in.that same crowd, with a town that small and everyone always almost knows anyone else, so either she's too trusting, too naive or too focus on nonsensical things that she somehow missed those things and clues not until it was tooooo late.

" Thrill killers are rare There's almost always a motive. And most of the time, it's what's staring us right in the face".

I think that this plot twist was a little predictable for me, however l do consume a lot of media of this kind, so for readers that do not delve into mysteries/ thrillers a lot, this might not be the case. additionally what irked me a little was the detailed romance plot that didn't feel super necessary for this book, however, this might be personal preference.
