Incredibly well written and I like how this book really touched on difficulties that children in the care system pass through as well and it was just a positive novel with a lot to take from it beyond the romance aspect. It was about different types of love and relationships and I like that it placed emphasis on the different bonds you can have with people because a lot of romance novels can be very isolated as far as the other parts of the protagonists’ lives are concerned. This was solidly good.

Wow, wow, wow! I loved this book so much. I figured I would enjoy Lance’s story from seeing a little bit from him in Crank.

Lance had me smiling and swooning all throughout the book. I don’t think I’ve ever swooned so hard while reading. He was such a fun character. He was super flirty which had me constantly grinning. I laughed at all the times Mariah whacked him because of something he said. There was a more serious side to Lance also. I love that he had such a big heart for his students. My heart broke for Lance as he struggled with what he felt was one of his biggest faults. It wasn't a fault at all though - he just needed the right woman to love him and accept him as he is.

Mariah has jumped to the top of my list of favorite female characters that Adriana has written. Mariah was so easy to relate to and I just loved her character so much. She was so sweet but vulnerable as well and I totally get that. Lance and Mariah's interactions together were just everything! I can’t wait until the next book in this series comes out.

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first book by Adriana, even though she has been on my TBR for a little while. Once I got into this story, I really loved it. It took me a little bit to wrap my head around Lances family and who was who, but thats really a background in this story for the most part.

I loved both Lance and Mariah as characters, and once you go to the heart of their personal issues and insecurities, it makes you love them even more. Mariah is one of those strong female leads who is a delight to read, and Lance is just plain cocky. But underneath it all, when you find his story, he makes you swoon even more, because of the kind of character he has.

Getting to know these guys and follow their banter was really fun, and while there are some serious issues discussed and involved in the storyline, its not written in a way that makes it too heavy. Its just right and the book is a pleasure to read.

Life is what you make it, and has blessings in disguise if you really look for them. If you're tough like these two, you can make it through anything.

I really hope to see more of these guys in the next book, because I definitely want to find out Machlan's story, and I also want to go back and read the first book. Way to start in the middle right? lol.

All around, a fun and easy read.

What a difference from the first book in the series! Likeable characters, a solid storyline, and not too much drama making me want to pull out my hair. Lance Gibson was an absolute delight! A confident, charming and sexy history teacher, who is a playboy of note. He has this cute flirting, bantering thing going on with the school librarian, Mariah. They go back and forth with witty comments and underlying sexual tension but never take it further.

Mariah had a whole lot of baggage that she had to deal with. It created a little drama with her being indecisive and scared to take a leap. And Lance, for all his playfulness and thoughtfulness, had a secret that plagued all his decision.

This was a lovely story of friends become more and had the added bonus of the Gibson family. Adriana Locke redeemed herself in this one and I'll definitely read the next book in the series.

Wow!
I didn't think it could get better than Crank, but Craft surpassed my expectations.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to dive in head first into a seriously swoony and romantic story that will keep you from putting the book down.
Well done Addy. Well Done!
Can't wait for Crave😉😊
