This is my favorite in the Chestnut Springs series (but surprisingly most people don't like it ?!). I think the MMC is my favorite of the family, and I really do love the FMC too (Willa may top her though on my list!).

The mental health rep goes hard!! I love to see it, and it was deeply relatable. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment watching these two come undone. The miscommunication sucked, but it is what it is!

Sloane and Jasper are childhood best friends. They have been there for each other through anything and everything.

I loved this book purely because the plot felt a bit more “serious” in a sense of Jasper having some issues and the plot of them having a kind of miscommunication with their feelings until Sloane finally breaks the mould people have put her in and becomes such a strong, powerful woman and lays everything out on the table.

The pace was brilliant. Elsie Silver is fast becoming a favourite author of mine and I loved it still had other characters from other books around in the story too.

Fabulous spicy scenes once again!

Definitely recommend.

Another winner for Chestnut Springs 😭

This would have been a 5 star read if I didn't have to yell "JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!!" a million times. I understand the trauma, but I also hate a miscommunication trope.

I adore Sloane and the sisterhood that is forming from female friendship. She was strong and feisty and so cute.

This one also got me excited for Winter's story. This did a good job of making her seem human and loveable.

More books completed in the series than left to read... and that breaks my heart.

This is my second favourite CS book so far!
Jasper made me really emotional, I teared up quite a few times. I loved the tortured hero trope for this, Jasper played it well.

This series just kept getting better and better. I love Jasper so much, and was anticipating his story from Rhett’s book. Jasper has my heart forever. I love the Eaton’s, and really want to start the Gold Rush Ranch series now!!!
