I wanted something that would provide me with a supercut of myth and folklore and this couldn’t have been more perfect.

Stunning illustrations bring a treasure trove of fairy tales, myths, and legends to life from Africa to Oceani to Indigenous Americas to Europe and Asia. I definitely learned many legends and tales I had not previously known, which is a delight as a fan of global folklore. And Yoshi Yoshitani's luscious illustrations provided such a visua feast and truly elevated each tale through finely detailed cultural clothing and creatures.

Beautiful illustrations, but the stories were a bit too short and oversimplified.
