This book is compelling, useful, and a great introduction to anti-racism. I learned a lot about the history of race and racism in Britain.

A must-read, especially for British people who think racism, in particular anti-black racism, is confined to the USA. I found the chapter on feminism the most engaging as it spoke to my experience as a woman of colour in predominantly white feminist circles.
