Set 10 years before "They Both Die at the End", tells the story of Death Casts beginning.
Valentino has just moved to New York, and randomly meets Orion in Times Square and feels a connection. Both have reasons for why they have signed up for Death Cast.
One receives a call the other does. And so they play out the rest of the day together.
I loved this story because it wasn't just about Valentino and Orion. It was very much six degrees of separation, and how everyone is connected.
We even get to meet young, Rufus & Mateo.
