Found the concept of death cast really interesting and found it did lean into that more sci-fi investigative element but not enough as I was more interested in that than the relationships of the characters. Got really repetitive, really didn’t need a remind every other sentence in Orion’s/Valentino’s narratives that someone was going to die, by the mid-end point I was waiting for the book to be over. The romance moments for me didn’t feel tender enough. The ‘villain’ i think could have been written in more depth or something. Perhaps in another day or something I would have enjoyed this more!

Amazingly written. Really makes you think about heaps of things and reflect about life in general.
