Ngl the enemies to lovers was a little annoying to me but I think that’s more subjective than objective critique

"Curse of Sins" is the second book in Kate's Curse of Saints series that immediately picks back up from where we left off in book one with Aya and Will returning home to Tala, unsure of what awaits them.
Due to the nature of their history, and Will’s complicated relationship with Gianna, Aya and Will keep their relationship a secret when they return home. With Aya the potential key to the prophecy, but with the answer still undiscovered, Aya's very purpose is brought into question. Aya and Will try to work together to learn the truth before the dark magic destroys everything.
The prose in this book is absolutely beautiful, there are so many wonderful quotes that read like poetry: “It felt as though the gods were affirming that their souls were the same. Destined to be mirrors, destined to be locked in each other’s orbit.”
The pacing of this book felt a little erratic at times with some parts feeling longer than others. However, there are plenty of twists and turns that kept me hooked! As with book one, I craved more interactions between the characters and their bonded wolves - we got a little more in this book, but not nearly as much as I wanted.
The characters continued to be wonderfully crafted with complexity and depth that I adored. Josie really shone for me in this book. Although some of her choices were questionable, I truly understand her motivations and applaud her strength. A particular stand out moment for me was “I am not glass. It is not up to you to decide what breaks me”.
I really enjoyed this book and the world that Kate has built with these incredible characters. The ending is absolutely brutal but I already can’t wait for book three to publish!

Wow, wow, wow, wow!
So this series is on its way to being the next Throne of Glass, mark my words. It. Was. So. Good! Be warned, there is a cliffhanger at the end and that last 15% will have you on the edge of your seat.
